Or medium exposure, which shows patches of aggregate and patches of the cream of the cement polished. It is up to the customer on what look they are trying to achieve or what there taste desires. Honed polished concrete, sometimes referred to as ‘Two Cut & Seal' is a great solution for outside in alfresco areas, outdoor kitchens and around swimming pools, where you need a non-slip surface. The top surface of the concrete is passed over lightly to remove any contaminants and a hardener applied. Then the concrete surface is polished to the finish you like, whether it be high or low sheen polish. This mirror finish is a great look in new contemporary homes and apartments. It's great light reflection properties and hardened surface are also ideal for workshops and airport hangers.
