Types of Concrete
Exposed Aggregate Polished Concrete:

Exposed polished concrete floors are Ground down to expose the aggregate in the concrete mix. This can be done with full exposure, so all the rocks are showing. Or medium exposure, which shows patches of aggregate and patches of the cream of the cement polished. It is up to the customer on what look they are trying to achieve or what there taste desires. Exposed polished concrete is stylish, durable, low maintenance. Perfect for residential and commercial applications, exposed polished concrete is ideal for kitchens and dining rooms, hallways, lobbies and any high traffic areas where you want to present a clean, stylish finish.

Honed Polished Concrete:

Honed polished concrete, sometimes referred to as ‘Two Cut & Seal' is a great solution for outside in alfresco areas, outdoor kitchens and around swimming pools, where you need a non-slip surface. It's also perfect for garages, driveways, pathways and sheds. Relatively inexpensive and highly practical, honed polished concrete makes your outdoor areas look absolutely fantastic. The exposed stone aggregate looks great while the slightly rough texture adds a non-slip safety feature.

The Industrial look & NIL exposure polished concrete:

The top surface of the concrete is passed over lightly to remove any contaminants and a hardener applied. Then the concrete surface is polished to the finish you like, whether it be high or low sheen polish. This mirror finish is a great look in new contemporary homes and apartments. It's great light reflection properties and hardened surface are also ideal for workshops and airport hangers. Some customers prefer the Industrial Look, which can be a combination of exposed and non-exposed patches of stone.
